Artisée is in active beta. The product is fully functional and being used by real beauty artists every day, but it is not yet a final release. This section explains what that means for you.
Sign up during the beta period and you receive one month of full Pro access free, and you lock in special founding rates that stay with your account for life, even after the official launch and any future price increases.
"Beta" means Artisée is in an early stage of public release. The core features described on this website are available and working. New features are being added regularly, existing features may change, and you may occasionally encounter bugs, slow performance, or short periods of downtime as we continue building.
Beta testers who start a paid subscription during the beta period qualify as Founding Members. Founding Member pricing is locked to your account as long as your subscription remains active and in good standing. If standard pricing changes after the beta ends, Founding Members continue paying the price they signed up at.
Founding Member pricing is not transferable to other accounts and ends if your subscription is cancelled for more than 60 days, after which standard pricing applies on reactivation.
New users during the beta period receive a one-month free trial of the Pro plan. No payment details are required to start. You will be reminded before the trial ends and you can choose to subscribe or continue on the Free plan with reduced limits. We will not auto-charge a card we never collected.
We work hard to keep Artisée reliable, but during the beta period we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. You should keep independent copies of any business-critical information you store in Artisée. We will make reasonable efforts to prevent data loss and to give advance notice of any significant changes that could affect your account, but we cannot accept liability for losses arising from beta-stage issues.
Beta testers play a direct role in shaping Artisée. Feedback you submit through the app, by email, or through any channel we offer may be used to improve the product without obligation, attribution, or compensation. Features, limits, prices, and plan structures may change as we learn from the beta — we will give reasonable notice in the app or by email before changes that affect existing subscriptions.
The beta period continues until we publicly announce general availability. We will notify all active beta users by email and in the app at least 14 days before the beta ends.
Your privacy matters. This section explains what information Artisée collects, why we collect it, and what we do — and do not do — with it. It is written to align with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Ontario law.
Artisée is a software service operated by Taiga Marketing, a business registered in Ontario, Canada and based in Toronto, Ontario. For the purposes of PIPEDA, Taiga Marketing is the organisation accountable for personal information handled through Artisée. Our Privacy Officer can be reached at privacy@artisee.studio.
For your own account information, Artisée is the organisation that determines how your data is handled. For the information you store about your clients (names, contact details, appointment notes, and similar), you are the organisation accountable for that personal information and Artisée acts as your service provider, processing it on your behalf and under your instructions. You are responsible for having a lawful basis and appropriate consent to collect and store your clients' information in Artisée.
When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and any business profile details you choose to add. When you use Artisée, we store the data you put into it: your clients, bookings, contracts, payments, kit items, notes, and similar business records. We collect basic technical information about how the app is used (device type, browser, anonymised usage events) so we can improve performance and fix issues.
We do not collect payment details from your clients. We do not track your location in the background. We do not read the contents of files you upload beyond what is needed to display them inside your account.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your client list, business records, or financial information with advertisers or data brokers. We do not use your business data to train artificial intelligence models that are shared with other accounts.
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run Artisée — for example, cloud hosting, email delivery, and payment-processing for our own subscription billing. These providers process data only on our instructions and under contractual confidentiality and security obligations. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties.
Artisée data is stored on encrypted servers hosted in Canada, operated by reputable cloud infrastructure providers. We protect data in transit using industry-standard encryption (TLS) and at rest using disk-level encryption. Access to production systems is limited to authorised personnel and is logged. A small number of supporting service providers (for example, email delivery or our own subscription-billing processor) may process limited data outside Canada; where that happens, the information remains subject to the laws of the country in which it is held and we take reasonable steps to ensure a comparable level of protection.
Under PIPEDA you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to ask that it be corrected if it is inaccurate, and to withdraw consent (subject to legal or contractual limits). You can access, export, correct, or delete the data we hold about you at any time from inside your account, or by contacting our Privacy Officer. If you close your account, your business data is permanently deleted within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain certain records (for example, billing history for tax purposes).
We keep personal information only for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Billing and tax records are retained for the period required under applicable Canadian law. When information is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymised.
We comply with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Transactional and account-related messages (such as billing notices, security alerts, and booking confirmations) are sent as part of providing the service. We will only send promotional or marketing messages where we have your consent, and every commercial message includes a clear unsubscribe option and our contact details.
Artisée is a business tool intended for adults. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of majority in their province or territory.
We maintain safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorised access. In the event of a privacy breach that poses a real risk of significant harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as required by PIPEDA, and keep records of breaches as the law requires.
We use a small number of cookies. See the Cookie Policy below for details.
For any privacy question, access request, or complaint, contact our Privacy Officer at privacy@artisee.studio. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca) or the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario (ipc.on.ca) where applicable.
This section explains how Artisée uses cookies and similar technologies, and the choices available to you.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or cookies that sell or share your activity with advertisers or data brokers.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of Artisée from working. Where consent is required for non-essential cookies, we will ask for it and you can change your choice at any time.
These Terms govern your use of Artisée. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them in full.
Artisée is a business management platform built for solo beauty artists and small beauty teams, operated from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, by a business registered in Ontario, Canada. The service is provided on a subscription basis, with a free tier and paid plans as described on the Pricing page. Artisée is currently in beta — see the Beta Program section above for what that means.
You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity on your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use Artisée. You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep it up to date.
You agree not to use Artisée to break the law, to harm others, or to undermine the service. Specifically, you agree not to upload malicious code, attempt to access other accounts, scrape or reverse-engineer the platform, or use it to send unsolicited marketing to people who have not asked to hear from you.
Everything you put into Artisée belongs to you. We claim no ownership over your client list, contracts, business records, or any other content you create or upload. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of running the service for you.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You can cancel at any time from inside your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for partial periods except where required by law. Beta testers should also read the Founding Member pricing terms in the Beta Program section.
We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We will give reasonable notice in the app or by email before any change that would meaningfully reduce features available on your current plan. If you do not accept a material change, you may cancel and receive a pro-rated refund for the unused part of your current billing period.
Artisée records and tracks payments. It does not process payments on your behalf, collect money for you, or act as a payment service provider. Artisée generates contracts. It does not provide legal advice and the contracts produced are templates that you are responsible for reviewing before sending to your clients.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Artisée and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the service, including lost profits, lost bookings, or business interruption. Our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. This limitation applies whether the claim arises in contract, tort, or otherwise. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
You can stop using Artisée and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, or if continued provision of the service would expose us to legal risk. Where reasonably possible, we will give you notice and an opportunity to fix the issue first.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or inside the app at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of Artisée after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have as a consumer under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, 2002 or other mandatory consumer-protection law that applies to you. Where any provision of these Terms conflicts with a right that cannot be waived under applicable law, that law prevails to the extent of the conflict.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You and Artisée agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your own province or territory.
Artisée is operated by Taiga Marketing, a business registered in Ontario, Canada (Toronto, Ontario). For any question about these Terms, contact us at legal@artisee.studio.
This policy keeps Artisée safe and reliable for everyone. By using the service you agree to these rules; breaking them may lead to suspension or termination of your account.
We may investigate suspected violations and may remove content, suspend features, or suspend or terminate accounts where we reasonably believe this policy has been breached. Where reasonably possible, we will give notice and a chance to fix the issue first, except where doing so would create legal or security risk.
This section explains how billing, cancellations, and refunds work. It applies together with the Terms of Service and, for beta testers, the Beta Program section above.
The Free plan costs nothing and can be used for as long as you like, subject to its limits. The beta one-month Pro trial requires no payment details and will not auto-charge a card, because we do not collect one to start the trial.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected). Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel.
You can cancel at any time from inside your account. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep access to paid features until that period ends.
Except where required by law, we do not provide pro-rated refunds for the unused part of a billing period after a cancellation. If we make a material change that meaningfully reduces the features on your current plan and you do not accept it, you may cancel and receive a pro-rated refund for the unused part of your current billing period. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days at legal@artisee.studio and we will investigate. Your statutory rights under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, 2002 are not affected.
Artisée is committed to making our website and product usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and to support the accessibility goals of Ontario's Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and its Integrated Accessibility Standards. We design with semantic structure, keyboard navigation, sufficient colour contrast, and reduced-motion preferences in mind, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing effort rather than a one-time task.
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on our website or in the product, or if you need information in an accessible format or with communication support, please contact us at legal@artisee.studio. We welcome your feedback and will respond as soon as we reasonably can, and we use it to improve.
